How to Recite Durood Sharif

Punishment for not reciting Durood
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Every assembly in which people gather and neither mention Allah nor send blessings upon their Prophet, that assembly will be a disaster for them on the Day of Resurrection.” And then if Allah wills, He will punish them and if He wills, He will forgive them
Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), said: It is disloyalty that someone remembers me and does not send blessings upon me.
Dua is not accepted without Durood
Hazrat Ali says that Allah Ta’ala keeps every supplication in hijab until blessings are sent upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his family.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH)said: O Abu Burida! When you sit in your prayer, do tashahhud and never stop sending blessings upon me, that is the zakat of prayer, and send salutations upon all the prophets and messengers of Allah and upon His pious servants.

Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Do not make your houses graves, nor my grave an Eidgah.”
